Ping G425 Iron features

The Hyper 17-4 Stainless Steel body, which is strengthened by a heat-treating process, increases the steel strength by 40%. This creates a thinner clubface that adds extra yards and carry distance with improved launch. The VFT feature, which is commonly found in metalwood designs, allows for measurable ball speed gains, resulting in higher launches with greater stopping power for holding greens.

Streamlined Look

Moreover, the G425 irons have a shorter blade length than the previous G410 model, with added Tungsten weights in the toe and sole. This boasts a 3% higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) due to mass savings from the new face geometry, which greatly expands the perimeter weighting and tightens dispersion, setting new standards for forgiveness in a more compact iron design.

Multi-Material Badge

To enhance the sound acoustics and provide a more satisfying feel at impact, a 3-piece Multi-Material Cavity Badge is placed into the rear cavity of the iron. This badge is made of aluminium, ABS material, and damping tape, which helps to dampen undesirable sound frequencies.

The Hydropearl Chrome Finish is the icing on the cake of the PING G425 Irons. The water-repellent finish offers less resistance in wet or rough conditions, leading to improved launch and spin.

If you're looking for a new set of irons that offer improved ball speed, higher launches, greater stopping power, and enhanced sound acoustics, the PING G425 Irons are the perfect fit.

What handicap should use the Ping G425 Irons?

The Ping G425 irons are designed to help golfers hit the ball with greater accuracy and distance, even on off-centre strikes. This means that even if you don't hit the ball perfectly on the sweet spot, you can still achieve great results. As a result, the G425 irons are an excellent choice for golfers with mid to high handicaps who are looking to improve their game.
