Ping G425 Max Driver Features

The PING G425 Max driver has the highest level of forgiveness ever created by PING due to a 26-gram weight made of tungsten that can be moved around. This weight is made possible by advancements in the driver's technology which saves weight in the crown of the club. You can set the weight to make your shots straight, or to make them curve. The driver's face is designed to be flexible which will help you hit the ball further. You can choose from three different angles for the club head: 9°, 10.5° and 12°.

The MAX has the highest MOI which means it is more forgiving when you don't hit the ball perfectly. This is mostly due to a 26-gram tungsten weight that can be moved to different settings. This weight moves the centre of gravity lower and farther back which helps with forgiveness.

Lightweight and easy to swing

The Internal Dragonfly is a technology used in the Ping G425 Max driver. It helps to save weight from the thin crown and use it in other parts of the clubhead to increase the Moment of Inertia (MOI) and improve the centre of gravity (CG). This results in better forgiveness and more distance on shots.

The face of the club is made with strong materials and crafted with precision to make it more flexible, which helps the ball go faster and travel a longer distance when you hit it. The crown turbulators are designed to reduce the amount of air resistance on the club, which helps you swing faster and hit the ball farther. This is because when there is less resistance from the air, the club can move more quickly and with less effort.

Satisfying Sound

Internal ribbing refers to a structure inside the head of the PING G425 Max driver made from a material called Ti 8-1-1. This structure has been designed to improve the sound and feel of the club when you hit the ball. The internal ribs reinforce specific areas of the clubhead, resulting in a solid and satisfying sound when you hit the ball, giving you better feedback on your shot.

Easy to Adjust

Easy Adjustability means that with Trajectory Tuning 2.0, you can adjust the driver's hosel sleeve to one of eight different positions, which can change the angle of the clubface and affect how high or low your shots will go. This can help you hit the ball farther and more accurately. The hosel sleeve is lightweight and designed to be aerodynamic, which can help you swing the club faster and hit the ball harder.

Should I get the Ping Max Driver (or the LST, SFT)?

If you are looking for maximum forgiveness and control, the Ping G425 Max driver would be the best option for you. If you need to reduce your slice, the Ping G425 SFT can improve your slice by 15 to 25 yards. If you want less backspin and longer drives get the Ping LST.
